020 was a year of seclusiveness and irrevocable change. The body of work I have created is a reflection of my singular isolation, and my way of making connections to the loss and dissipation of habitual living. As a consequence of living in the rapidly developing South, I find myself in a car for hours at a time. Although my daily destination is the same, my daily view is never pre-destined. Because the view is ever-changing, I seek to find order during times of lurking chaos. My work intuits for something recognizable. I consider my sculptures as three-dimensional landscapes that echo transient memories and epitaphs of forgotten eras that continue to merge technologies with practicalities.
