Andrew Marsh makes beautiful & terrifying art exploring sacrifice & reward in the face of severe chronic pain. He combines brutal, explosive performances with cast iron, welded steel, & chainsaw carved wood sculptures. He was artist in residence at City Museum, earning his MFA at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (‘01) & BFA at the University of Kentucky (‘95). His work has appeared in 250+ group & solo exhibitions, collections, installations, & events. He serves as chair of the board of directors for Josephine Sculpture Park, is a contributing artist at Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum, & co-chaired 2017 & 2019 NCCCIAP.
